Jakub Rurarz

Jakub Rurarz is a legal professional currently serving as a Legal Advisor in the Legal Service at the Council of the European Union since February 2022. Previously, Jakub completed a traineeship within the same institution, focusing on institutional questions and litigations. Prior to this role, Jakub held various positions at the European Careers Association (ECA) in Maastricht, including Executive Vice President and Secretary & Vice-President, where responsibilities included project administration and member communication. Jakub also worked as a Technical Service Representative at the Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center in Maastricht for four years. Additional experience includes serving as Co-Head for External Delegations at the United Nations Student Association in Maastricht. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in European Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in European Law from Maastricht University.
