Katelijn Serlet

Katelijn Serlet has extensive experience in translation and linguistics, currently serving as a Director and Head of the Resources Unit in the Translation Service at the Council of the European Union since 1996. Previous roles include Head of the Dutch Language Unit and various positions such as Translator, Terminology Coordinator, and Project Manager. Prior to their tenure at the Council, Katelijn Serlet worked as a Translator for the Belgian Federal Parliament from 1990 to 1996 and briefly as an Interpreter for Confederatie Bouw in 1989. Katelijn Serlet holds a Master in Interpretation and Applied Linguistics from HOGENT, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
