Simona Losmanova is an experienced professional in the fields of ICT security, project management, and environmental policy. Currently serving as an ICT Security Administrator in the Cybersecurity Unit at the Council of the European Union since February 2024, Losmanova has also been involved as a Short Term Observer for election missions with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights since March 2022. Previously, Losmanova worked as a Team Leader in the Digital Transformation & Coordination Unit at the European Commission and has held advisory and managerial positions in various EU projects, including at the European Research Executive Agency and the European Environment Agency. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Building Structures and a Master’s in Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague.
