Eloy Ortega

Eloy Ortega currently serves as President of both Ortega Financial Group and Santa Barbara Community Bank, with involvement in the latter since June 2014. Eloy Ortega has held various leadership roles, including as a board member for the Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse and the Children's Museum Santa Barbara since 2009, and previously served as Executive Team Campaign Chair for the United Boys & Girls Club until October 2017. Notable past positions include CEO of The Bank of Santa Barbara and CEO of City Commerce Bank, where effective management strategies led to significant financial improvements. Eloy Ortega also founded and served as CEO of Business First Bank and was the founding President & CEO of Promerica Bank, the first Latino-owned bank established in Los Angeles in over 35 years. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from New Mexico State University and certification as a Commercial Lender from the National Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma.
