Liza Bayless

Senior Policy Specialist at Council on Criminal Justice

Liza Bayless serves as a Senior Policy Specialist at the Council on Criminal Justice since August 2022, following a role as Policy Specialist. Previously, Liza was a Summer Fellow with the NYU Prison Education Project and held positions such as Outreach Coordinator at Mobilize, Communications and Research Fellow at the Washington State Democratic Party, and Partner Account Manager at Unloop. Additional experience includes roles in marketing, community engagement, and editorial work, with earlier positions at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and YES! Magazine. Liza holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy Analysis from NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government from Wesleyan University.
