Ajit Mishra is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in information technology management and system administration. Currently serving as the Senior Information Technology Officer at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) since March 2022, Ajit previously held positions including IT Officer at Oxfam India and Information Communication Technology Officer at the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative. With a background in managing servers, data backup, and network security, Ajit has also worked as a Server and Network Administrator at Computer Technical Services Consultancy and as an Assistant Manager IT at Model Architect Craft. Ajit began a career in information security as a Test Engineer at Haymarket Media Group. Educationally, Ajit holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Computer Applications from Annamalai University.

The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) is one of Asia’s leading not-for-profit policy research institutions. In over 10 years of operations, The Council has engaged in more than 270 research projects, published well over 200 peer-reviewed books, policy reports and papers, engaged with governments around the world over 670 times, helped state governments with water and irrigation reforms, and organised more than 350 seminars and conferences.
