Louie Swanepoel

Louie Swanepoel is a seasoned professional in the field of higher education with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as Senior Manager: Operations at the Council on Higher Education since August 2013, Louie has previously held various roles at Unisa, including Quality Assurance Specialist, Acting Director, and Professor, from January 1994 to July 2013. Earlier in the career, Louie was the Executive Director and Senior Lecturer/Professor at Technikon Southern Africa from January 1994 to December 2005, and served as a Lecturer at Rand Afrikaans University from January 1985 to February 1991. The academic journey began as a Research Assistant at the University of the Free State from January 1981 to December 1985. Louie holds a DLitt degree in Afrikaans Nederlands from the University of the Free State, completed in 1991.
