Wendy-Antonique Qampi

Wendy-Antonique Qampi currently serves as an Assistant Researcher at the Council on Higher Education, a position held since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Johannesburg, supporting a Distinguished Professor from November 2021 to March 2023, and as an Academic Student Assistant in the Department of Journalism Film and Television. Wendy-Antonique also worked as a Research Writer for the National Research Foundation of South Africa while completing a Master's dissertation from April 2021 to February 2023, and coordinated a research project on the reach of print media in KwaZulu-Natal under Dr. Francis Mdlongwa. Additional experience includes SEO copywriting for Astute Technologies UK and guest writing for the African Investigative Journalism Conference at the University of the Witwatersrand. Wendy-Antonique holds a Master's degree in Journalism and has completed various degrees in related fields from Rhodes University and the University of Johannesburg.
