Jonquil Johnson Thompson, LMSW, is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience in program management, care coordination, and community support services. Currently serving as a Scheduling Coordinator at Safety Essentials, LLC, Jonquil is responsible for coordinating CPR trainings and CNA licensing exams. Past roles include Program Manager at Communities In Schools of Memphis, where supervision and feedback were provided to a team while ensuring programming quality. Jonquil has also contributed as a Care Coordination Specialist, MFP Fellow at the Council on Social Work Education, and Digital Mentor at The University of Memphis Center for the Advancement of Youth Development, focusing on addressing health disparities and enhancing youth digital literacy. With a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from The University of Memphis, Jonquil possesses a strong foundation in social services, housing support, and community engagement.

Council on Social Work Education
Founded in 1952, the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is the national association representing social work education in the United States. Its members include more than 800 accredited baccalaureate and master’s degree social work programs and their affiliated social work educators, students, and staff, as well as practitioners and agencies dedicated to advancing quality social work education. Through its many initiatives, activities, and centers, CSWE supports quality social work education and provides opportunities for leadership and professional development so that social workers are empowered to play a central role in achieving the profession’s goals of social and economic justice. CSWE’s Commission on Accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as the sole accrediting agency for social work education in the United States and its territories.
