Li Yang has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. From 2017 to present, they have been serving as a Jury for the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) International Research Seed Funding, reviewing and evaluating submissions. Prior to that, they worked at Aurecon from 2006 to 2023, starting as a Principal and later taking on the role of Client Leader for the Melbourne Built Environment. From 2009 to 2012, they were a member of the Sustainability Committee at the Singapore Institute of Architects. Before that, from 1999 to 2005, they worked as a Project/Technical Director at Facade Master.
Li Yang obtained a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Architecture from the National University of Singapore, where they studied from 1991 to 1997. They later pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Facade Engineering at the University of Bath from 2002 to 2003. In addition, Li Yang obtained a certification in Leading with Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn in January 2021.
