Gary Chyi

Gary Chyi is a legal professional with extensive experience in appellate practice and strategy. Currently serving as the Supreme Court Director at Counsel Press Inc. since May 2015, Gary Chyi focuses on client engagements at both the petition and merits stages, fostering relationships with senior clerks at the Court. Prior roles include Senior Appellate Counsel and Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office, along with positions at Kirkland & Ellis LLP as both Of Counsel and Associate. Gary Chyi began a legal career as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Educational qualifications include a degree from the University of Michigan Law School and Georgetown University.
