Matthew Pahl

Matthew Pahl is an experienced game designer with a diverse background in the gaming industry. Currently serving as the Lead Game Designer at Counterplay Games since June 2019, Pahl has previously held key positions including Design Director at nWay Inc. and VP of Game Design/Co-Founder at Mastermind Studios, Inc. Pahl's expertise includes designing game systems, monetization strategies, and live-ops systems, as well as managing company P&L and analyzing game KPIs. Prior roles include Lead Game Designer at GREE International, Inc., Associate Game Designer at Funzio, and Game Designer/Data Analyst at Regan Mercantile, LLC. Pahl holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Michigan State University.
