Kostas Avramiotis, CMA

Kostas Avramiotis, CMA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kostas began their career in 2008 as a Customer Service representative at Hellenic Organisation of Telecommunications and then went on to volunteer as a fundraiser at Barka Foundation for Mutual Help. In 2010, they served as a Military Training instructor during their mandatory military service with the Hellenic Armed Forces.

After completing their military service, Kostas joined Philips Healthcare as a Pricing and Margin Analyst intern in the finance department. Following their internship, they worked at PPG Industries, Protective and Marine Coatings as a Business Analyst. In this role, they performed financial analysis, designed a Qlikview application to improve gross margin insight, and managed budgeting and forecasting.

In 2015, Kostas joined Merck as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they focused on financial modeling and analysis. Kostas then transitioned to Hyva Group in 2017, assuming the position of Business Controller. In this role, they were responsible for financial planning and analysis, as well as coordinating with local finance teams.

Kostas later worked as a Finance Consultant for self-employed clients in 2019 before joining AGODCO Stealth-Lock™ Connection as the Head of Finance in 2020. In this role, they managed financial operations and provided strategic oversight. Currently, since January 2022, they serve as the Head of Finance & Operations at Countly, where they continue to bring their financial expertise and leadership skills to the organization.

Kostas Avramiotis, CMA, has a diverse education history. In 2005, they began their undergraduate studies at Athens University of Economics and Business, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration. During their time there, in 2008, they participated in a study abroad program at Goethe University Frankfurt, focusing on BWL (Business Administration) studies.

After completing their undergraduate degree in 2009, Kostas pursued further education. In 2011, they attended Tilburg University and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance. This provided him with a deeper understanding of financial concepts and practices.

In addition to their formal education, Kostas has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Notably, in 2014, they earned a certification as a Qlikview Designer from Qlik. Kostas then became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 2016, acquiring the necessary skills for management accounting. Furthermore, Kostas obtained the Gold level Leader certification from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) in 2017, reflecting their leadership abilities.
