Head Golf Professional at Country Club of Landfall

Matt Workman has been working in the golf industry since 2009. Matt is currently the Head Golf Professional at The Country Club of Landfall since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Vestavia Country Club from May 2020 to May 2022. Matt also served as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Vestavia Country Club from May 2018 to May 2020. Before that, they worked as an Assistant PGA Golf Professional at North Ridge Country Club-Raleigh from October 2013 to April 2018 and at Belle Meade Country Club from May 2013 to September 2013. Matt started their career as a PGA Apprentice at North Ridge Country Club-Raleigh from May 2012 to August 2012 and continued as a PGA Apprentice at Greenville Country Club (SC) from May 2011 to August 2011. Matt also served as a PGA Apprentice at Grandfather Golf and Country Club from May 2010 to November 2010, and at El Paso Country Club from May 2009 to August 2009. Prior to their golf career, they worked as an Assistant Camp Counselor at Camp Rockmont for Boys from June 2008 to August 2008.

Matt Workman attended Clemson University from 2008 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Matt'sfield of study included Business Management and Supply Chain Management, as well as Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. Additionally, they completed the PGA Golf Management program at the same institution. After their formal education, Matt obtained various certifications including Level 2 Coach and Level 1 Coach from Operation 36 Golf in March 2017 and September 2016, respectively. Matt also achieved TPI Level Three - Junior Coach, TPI Level Two - Junior Coach, and TPI Level One certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute in October 2014 and March 2014, respectively. Furthermore, they became a Class A Member of the PGA of America in June 2013.
