Edgar Agustin Chavez Heredia

Edgar Agustin Chavez Heredia has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Edgar Agustin started their career as a Practicante de ingenieria at Ansell in January 2006 and worked there until March 2007. From June 2007 to December 2012, they served as a Methods engineer at Valeo, where they gained experience in demand management, SAP, PLM, and value stream mapping.

In December 2012, Edgar joined BRP as a Lean Manufacturing Engineer. Edgar Agustin was responsible for implementing lean manufacturing tools and strategies such as SMED, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, TPM, and 5S. Edgar Agustin also conducted training sessions on lean manufacturing concepts and facilitated kaizen events. Edgar worked at BRP until November 2015.

After that, they joined Continental as a LEAN COACH from November 2015 to April 2016. Their role involved coaching and implementing lean principles and tools within the organization. Edgar then joined Roper Technologies, Inc. in April 2016 as a Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager/Engineer. Edgar Agustin held this position until May 2023, focusing on coordinating and optimizing performance activities. Currently, they are working as a Project Manager Engineer at Country Pure Foods, starting from May 2023.

Prior to that, from 2003 to 2010, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez.
