Matt Smorch

Matt Smorch is an accomplished executive in the refining and logistics industry, currently serving as President & CEO of CountryMark since April 2001. With a progressive career at CountryMark, Matt has held various leadership roles, including VP of Refining and Logistics, where responsibilities included Supply, Marketing, and operations related to Refinery, Pipeline, and Terminal. Prior to this, Matt was associated with Premcor Refining Group as Senior Process Engineer and spent three years at Amoco Oil Company as Process Safety Coordinator in the Refining Business Group. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
