Joe Schilp

Associate Director, Alex Decroce Media Center at County College of Morris

Joe Schilp has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Joe started their career in 1990 as the Public Access Coordinator for United Artists Cable, where they managed the availability and use of the Public Access Studio. In 1995, they became the Coordinator of Game Entertainment for the New Jersey Devils, where they brought all audio and video production in-house and managed the overall fan experience at hockey games. From 1999 to 2010, they served as the Senior Video Production Specialist at Giants Stadium and Izod Center, overseeing multimedia production staff and directing various sports events and shows. In 2010, Joe took on multiple roles, including Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University, Control Room Video Board Director for Red Bull New York, and special operations coordinator for Diane Gooch's congressional campaign. Joe also worked as a Part-Time Lecturer at Rutgers University, teaching various sports management courses. In 2011, Joe joined County College of Morris as the Associate Director of the Alex DeCroce Media Center, where they increased the college's global presence through content production and facility upgrades. In 2015, they founded their own production company, JazzyJoeyD Productions, and has worked on various projects, including camera operation and interviewing assignments for Stats Perform/OmniSport. With their extensive experience in video production, multimedia, and teaching, Joe Schilp's expertise is well-rounded and diverse.

Joe Schilp attended Paramus Catholic High School from 1980 to 1984. After graduating, they then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at William Paterson University of New Jersey from 1984 to 1988. Joe furthered their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Communication from 1988 to 1990.
