Fatma Mazrui

Fatma Mazrui has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Fatma started their career in 2006 with internships at Radio Rahma, Kenya Ports Authority, and the Ministry of Justice, where they gained experience in public relations, media relations, and communication. Fatma then worked as a Sales Executive at DHL Worldwide Express, where they focused on customer acquisition and portfolio management. Later, they joined the Kenya Red Cross-Mombasa Branch as a Marketing and Communications Officer, where they promoted the organization's activities and products and sought out clients for First Aid Training. Fatma also worked at Modern Coast Courier Services as an Assistant Manager, where they gained experience in logistics and operations. Fatma later embarked on entrepreneurial ventures, founding Nitume Online Company and In Motion Delivery. Currently, Fatma holds key positions in the County Government of Mombasa as Director of Investment and Business Development and Assistant Director of Investment, where they promote trade, investment, and private sector development in the region.

Fatma Mazrui has a diverse education history. In 2014-2015, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Project Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from the same university. In 2004-2007, Fatma completed a Diploma in Media Advertising & Marketing at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
