James Mwangoji

James Mwangoji has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James currently holds the position of Chief ICT Officer at the County Government of Mombasa since August 2021. Prior to this role, James worked as a Business Executive at Xtra Publishing Ltd starting from March 2014. James then went on to become a Managing Partner at Bitsoft Technologies Kenya in December 2015, where their responsibilities included directing and controlling the work and resources of the company. James also worked as a Sales Executive at DT Dobie & Company Kenya Limited from 2011 to 2013. Before that, they served as a Business Executive at Nation Media Group from July 2008 to August 2011, responsible for selling advertising space for various publications. James started their career as a Systems Analyst at Tana and Athi River Development Authority from January 2005 to July 2008, specializing in software deployment and IT service outsourcing.

James Mwangoji pursued their secondary education from 1996 to 2000 at Moi Forces Academy, where they obtained their KSCE qualification with a B Minus grade. James furthered their education at United States International University - Africa from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Systems & Technology.
