Erik Lawson

Erik Lawson has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Erik most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at County National Bank since November 2017. Prior to that, they held the same role at Five Star Bank from April 2016 to July 2017. From September 2005 to April 2016, they worked at American River Bank as the Vice President and Controller. Erik also gained experience at Perry-Smith LLP as a Senior Associate specializing in Financial Institutions from September 2002 to September 2005. Erik started their career at KPMG Audit as an Associate from January 2001 to June 2002. Erik also held various roles at IpswichBank, BayBank, and BankBoston earlier in their career.

Erik Lawson has a solid educational background. Erik completed their MBA/MS in Accounting from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in 2001. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Communication from Boston University between 1992 and 1993. Erik also holds a BA in History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, which they obtained from 1987 to 1991.

Moreover, Erik Lawson has obtained additional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in both Michigan and California. These certifications were awarded by the AICPA in February 2004.
