Lori C. Thompson is a seasoned financial crimes specialist with extensive experience in compliance and banking operations. Currently serving as a Sr Financial Crimes Specialist at County National Bank since January 2012, Lori assists in ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related regulations, utilizing Verafin software for BSA filings and fraud investigations. Prior roles include working as a BSA Assistant at Flagstar Bank, where Lori contributed to a software conversion project, and as an Operations Assistant/BSA Specialist at Republic Bank, leading compliance efforts for the BSA. Lori's earlier experience includes positions at Chase and Pontiac State Bank, where a variety of banking and customer service responsibilities were undertaken. Proficient in various banking software, Lori demonstrates a strong foundation in financial crime prevention and regulatory compliance.
