Debra Handler

Debra Handler is a seasoned professional in community services and finance, currently serving as a Financial Analyst for the County of Dufferin since September 2021. In addition, Debra is an author, facilitator, and motivational speaker at Flourish! since March 2021, where workshops focus on empowerment during uncertain times. Previous roles include Supervisor of Community Services at the Region of Waterloo, Manager of Community Services at the County of Dufferin, and various positions at the Ministry of Community and Social Services and the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Debra's career began as an Instructor and Lead Trainer at the Centre Ontarien de prévention des agressions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education from Brock University.
