Rebecca Hillyer

Rebecca Hillyer is an accomplished urban planner with extensive experience in various planning and research roles. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the County of Grey since June 2021, Rebecca has also held positions as an Intermediate Planner and Planner in the same organization. Previous roles include Development Coordinator at The Corporation of The City of Owen Sound, Urban Planner at Arch Town Planners, and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for OCSDNet, where Rebecca contributed to international projects focused on scientific processes in diverse global contexts. Rebecca's academic background encompasses a Master of Philosophy in Urban and Regional Planning from Stellenbosch University and a Master of Arts in Participation Power and Social Change from the University of Sussex, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto Scarborough.
