Sean Quincey

Sean Quincey has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in administrative roles and journalism. Currently serving as the Deputy County Administrative Officer for the County of Humboldt since July 2012, Sean has also held positions as a Senior Administrative Analyst and Public Information Specialist within the same organization. Prior to this, Sean was the Director at Ferndale Children's Center and a Preschool Teacher at Gillispie School. Sean’s journalism career includes roles as a Sports Writer for Eureka Times-Standard and The Eureka Reporter, where responsibilities included producing sports content and maintaining online presence. Sean’s experience also extends to broadcasting as a Color Commentator for Macey TV. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Child Development from Humboldt State University and an Associate of Arts in General Education from Mira Costa College.
