Wanda Cloud

Wanda Cloud has extensive experience in substance abuse counseling, currently serving as a Substance Abuse Counselor II at the County of Humboldt since March 2014, focusing on AB109 clients and reducing recidivism through collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team. Previously, Wanda worked as a Community Health Educator at Sierra Native Alliance, where home visits and wellness plans were conducted, and as a Customer Service Representative for Maximus through Apple One Temporary Agency, gaining insights into social services operations. Earlier roles included Substance Abuse Counselor at Native Directions, Inc., and Consultant at California Tribal TANF, specializing in assessments and treatment planning. Wanda began their career as a Residential Counselor at New Hope Recovery. Educational credentials include a diploma in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from CAARR Institute and a certificate in Medical Assisting from Kaplan College.
