Michelle Buchignani possesses a diverse professional background in appraisal and management, currently serving as an Appraiser for the County of Lake since November 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Appraiser Aide and Deputy Assessor Recorder within the same organization. Michelle's previous positions also encompass Office Manager/Bookkeeper at Cable Car Classics Inc. and Office Manager Bookkeeper at Wine Country Computers, along with experience as an Insurance Agent at Farmers Insurance. Educationally, Michelle holds an Associate in Arts degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Business Administration and Management from Santa Rosa Junior College, completed between 2018 and 2021, and has further education from Empire College School of Business.

The County of Lake provides a variety of services to Lake County residents and visitors, including public protection, health and sanitation, public assistance, libraries, agricultural assistance, parks, recreational and cultural activities, elections, planning, behavioral health services, and infrastructure. Many of the the County's services are provided Countywide, while others are provided only to the residents of the unincorporated areas.
