Patrick Sullivan is an experienced finance and law professional currently serving as the Treasurer - Tax Collector for the County of Lake since December 2018. Prior to this role, Patrick held various positions, including Trustee on the Board of Retirement for the County of Mendocino from 2012 to 2018 and Supervising Law Clerk in the Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office for the County of Sonoma from 2010 to 2012. Additional legal experience includes law clerk roles at the Environmental Law and Justice Clinic at Golden Gate University and Disability Rights California. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Golden Gate University, School of Law, and a B.A. in International Relations from UC San Diego.

The County of Lake provides a variety of services to Lake County residents and visitors, including public protection, health and sanitation, public assistance, libraries, agricultural assistance, parks, recreational and cultural activities, elections, planning, behavioral health services, and infrastructure. Many of the the County's services are provided Countywide, while others are provided only to the residents of the unincorporated areas.
