Richard Kreutzer is an experienced law enforcement professional and business owner with a diverse background in security and investigations. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff for the County of Lake since June 2022, Richard previously held roles including Deputy Sheriff Detective and Juvenile Correctional Officer within the same county. As the Founder, Director, and Investigator of Cyber Consulting & Digital Forensic Investigations LLC since January 2018, Richard combines expertise in digital forensics with extensive investigative experience gained from prior positions such as Private Investigator and Police Officer. Educationally, Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Chico, awarded in 2000.

The County of Lake provides a variety of services to Lake County residents and visitors, including public protection, health and sanitation, public assistance, libraries, agricultural assistance, parks, recreational and cultural activities, elections, planning, behavioral health services, and infrastructure. Many of the the County's services are provided Countywide, while others are provided only to the residents of the unincorporated areas.
