Edward M. Gomez, MPA, has extensive experience in the field of probation and juvenile justice, currently working as a Supervising Deputy Probation Officer at the County of Los Angeles Probation Department since July 1996. Previous roles within the department include Deputy Probation Officer II, focusing on gang investigations and homicide task forces, as well as Deputy Probation Officer I in a re-entry program. Additionally, Edward served as a Reserve Deputy Probation Officer, coordinating Teen Court for at-risk minors. Edward's career began as a Parole Intern at the California Division of Juvenile Justice. Edward holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles.
