The Office of the County Treasurer exists by virtue of Michigan Law. County funds under the Treasurer's jurisdiction include drainage districts, county road improvement projects, Circuit Court, Veteran's Trust, and the Delinquent Tax Revolving Fund. The Treasurer is responsible for accounting of all revenue, investments, securities, and the County monies in financial institutions.
