Anthony Russo

Anthony Russo is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in public works and private development. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Public Works for Manatee County Government since March 2016, Anthony has managed significant projects including water treatment systems, wastewater infrastructures, and roadway expansions. As the owner of Russo Development Services LLC since 2010, Anthony specializes in site development and permitting. Prior experience includes roles as Capital Projects Engineer for the City of Sarasota and Project Manager at Tindale Oliver and Associates, where key initiatives included traffic analysis and LEED-certified project design. Anthony's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida, a Master's degree from the University of South Florida, and a LEED AP certification from the US Green Building Council.
