Charlie Hunsicker

Charlie Hunsicker is the Director of the Natural Resources Department at Manatee County Government in Bradenton, Florida, a position held since July 1977, with a notable focus on environmental issues throughout a 32-year career. Hunsicker also served as the Director of the Parks and Natural Resources Department, overseeing the merger of the former Parks and Recreation Department with the Natural Resources Department, managing a variety of recreational programs and facilities across the county. Prior to this role, Hunsicker was the Assistant City Manager for the City of Clearwater, Florida, from January 1989 to September 1991. Educationally, Hunsicker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University.
