Juan Rivera has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Capital Improvement Program Manager for the County of Maui since October 2005, overseeing the Design and Construction for the Wastewater Reclamation Division and managing wastewater capital improvement projects. Prior to this role, Juan Rivera worked as a Structural Engineer at SEI Engineers, Inc. from May 1993 to October 2004, specializing in structural analysis and design for various industrial facilities, and also held a position as a Structural Engineer at SE Technologies at AEP from 1991 to 1993. Juan Rivera obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, where studies were completed between 1982 and 1988, and completed general studies at Emilio R. Delgado from 1980 to 1982.
