Calvin Tran

Calvin Tran is an experienced IT Applications Developer II currently employed by the County of Orange since December 2023. Prior to this role, Calvin served as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Enphase Energy from June 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included developing a responsive dashboard using React and TypeScript and significantly improving load times. Calvin also worked as a Full Stack Engineer for ACM Teach LA, contributing to computer science education initiatives in Los Angeles, and served as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, where data analysis on fungal growth rates was conducted using Python. Calvin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics for Teaching from UCLA and an Associate's degree in Mathematics from Irvine Valley College.
