James Tyler

James Tyler, M.S., P.E., QSD, QSP, serves as the Senior Engineering Manager for Flood Programs at the County of Orange, having held various managerial roles within Orange County Public Works since August 2002. With over two decades of experience, James has contributed to projects including road and bridge design, and the Santa Ana River Project, progressing through positions such as Chief of the Engineering Section and Senior Civil Engineer. Prior to joining Orange County Public Works, James worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Myers Houghton and Partners and held project management and engineering roles at Borm Associates Inc. and Boyle Engineering. James holds a Master's of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from UC Irvine.
