Jonathan Volzke

Jonathan Volzke currently serves as the Community Outreach and Liaison Manager for OC Animal Care under the County of Orange since December 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Communications and Marketing Analyst for the City of Lake Forest, Public Affairs Manager for the Municipal Water District of Orange County, and Public Information Manager for Santa Margarita Water District. Jonathan also has a background in public relations and media, having worked as a Senior Account Manager at both Faubel Public Affairs and Communications Lab, as well as serving as Senior Editor and Publisher/Editor for Picket Fence Media and The Capistrano Dispatch, respectively. An early career as a high-producing reporter at the Orange County Register and Daily Pilot provided a strong foundation in journalism. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton.
