Josie McMurray

Josie McMurray, SHRM-CP, has over two decades of experience in human resources, currently serving as the Human Resources Manager for the County of Orange since October 2000. In this role, McMurray oversees the Employee Records and Transactions Processing Unit, facilitating ongoing career life-cycle support for county employees. Previously, McMurray held the position of Employee Services Manager at the OC Sheriff's Department from June 2016 to January 2020, where responsibilities included processing a variety of personnel transactions and managing employee services. Prior to that, McMurray worked as a Recruiter for County of Orange Human Resource Services from November 2006 to May 2016, focusing on recruitment and selection consultation. Early career experience includes serving as an Assistant Store Manager at Fashion Q and a Seasonal Administrative Assistant at Anaheim School District/Loara High School.
