Brent Sutherland

Brent Sutherland is an experienced facilities management professional currently serving as the Director of Facilities Management for the County of Rock since June 2016, overseeing 1,500,000 square feet of county-owned buildings. Previously, Brent held the position of Director of Plant at SSM Health Care from July 2011 to June 2016, managing day-to-day operations and code compliance at St. Mary's Janesville Hospital while also serving as EOC Safety Officer. Before that, Brent was the Facilities Superintendent at Rock County Health Care Center from July 2001 to July 2011, responsible for maintenance department operations and safety oversight. Brent began a career in facilities management as a Maintenance II Worker at the same center from December 1990 to July 2000, where responsibilities included plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems. Brent's education includes attendance at various technical schools from 1983 to 2011 and completion of high school at Whitewater High from 1978 to 1982.
