Carlos Ramos

Welfare To Work Case Worker at County of San Benito

Carlos Ramos has extensive experience in both social services and the arts. Since February 1999, Carlos has worked as a Welfare to Work case worker for San Benito County Health and Human Services, assisting CalWORKs recipients in achieving self-sufficiency through employment. In addition to this role, Carlos has maintained a career as a freelance artist since 1989, embodying the belief that creativity is an innate quality in every child. From September 2001 to June 2014, Carlos served as a basketball coach and athletic director at San Juan School, overseeing all sports operations and managing the athletics department. Carlos also held the position of site supervisor for the One Voice Mural Project in Monterey County for a brief period in 1998. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in art with a minor in illustration from San Jose State University.
