Francisco Diaz is an experienced professional currently serving as the County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters for the County of San Benito since August 2019, managing county elections and vital records while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Previously, Francisco held positions as Assistant County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters and Senior Deputy Clerk-Recorder-Elections within the same county. In addition, Francisco served as a Labor Relations Representative for the California School Employees Association, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and guiding members on labor issues. Hollister, the county seat, is approximately 95 miles south of San Francisco, 45 miles inland from Monterey, and 300 miles north of Los Angeles.
