Allen Hunsberger

Allen Hunsberger currently serves as President of the California Association of Public Procurement Officials, Inc. since January 2024, and has extensive experience with the County of San Diego since May 1997, progressing through various roles including Assistant Director of Purchasing and Contracting, Purchasing Manager, and Senior Procurement Specialist. In addition to the public sector, Allen is an instructor for the Professional Certificate in Project Management program at San Diego State University's Global Campus, where teaching focuses on procurement and project simulation. Allen's military background includes service as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Reserve, specializing in intelligence. Academically, Allen holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UC San Diego.
