Caroline Smith

Caroline Smith has over 18 years of experience in public administration, currently serving as the Assistant Chief Administrative Officer for the County of San Diego since October 2005. In addition to this role, Caroline has held various positions within the Health and Human Services Agency, including Interim Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Director of Economic Development and Government Affairs, and Assistant Director of Aging & Independence Services. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Events and Championships at National Spirit Group. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, earned in 2001.
