Donald Chase is an accomplished planning manager with extensive experience in long-range planning and project management within various governmental roles. Since January 2016, Donald has served as a Planning Manager for the County of San Diego, leading the Long Range Planning Division and overseeing multiple initiatives such as the County General Plan amendments, Assessment District formation, Climate Action Plan implementation, and land use entitlement processes. Prior to this, Donald held positions including Senior Management Analyst for the City of Del Mar and Senior Planner at Marstel-Day, LLC, where notable contributions included facilitating planning efforts for the U.S. Air Force and supporting federal environmental conservation projects with the U.S. Forest Service. Donald holds a BA in Public Administration and an MS coursework in Landscape Ecology from California State University, Chico.
