Ian Dawes

Ian Dawes is an accomplished professional in geospatial analysis and research, currently serving as a Senior Data & Research Analyst and Senior GIS Analyst for the County of San Diego since December 2019. Previous experience includes roles at Quartic Solutions and GIS Analysis & Cartographic Design, where Ian provided expert cartography and geographic analysis support for planning and development initiatives. Additional positions have involved geospatial data validation for Pacific Gas & Electric and contributions to regional infrastructure projects at SANDAG. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from San Diego State University and an Associate of Science in Quantitative Reasoning from Grossmont College.
