Jamie L. Abbott

Jamie L. Abbott, C.M. serves as the Director of Airports for the County of San Diego since August 2022. Previously, Jamie held the role of Director, Military Equal Opportunity with the Indiana Air National Guard from June 1995 to August 2022, focusing on training members in federal diversity and equal opportunity regulations. With a career spanning nearly 27 years of military service, Jamie has also contributed as a Board Member for the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association and as Chairman of the Board for the Illinois Public Airports Association. Additionally, Jamie directed operations at Chicago Executive Airport and managed Michigan City Municipal Airport. Educationally, Jamie holds a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Administration from Indiana State University.
