Lana Findlay

Lana Findlay is an experienced marketing and outreach professional currently serving as the Marketing and Outreach Manager for the County of San Diego's Parks and Recreation Department since July 2015. Previously, Lana held various positions related to health communication, including Supervising Health Information Specialist and Health Information Specialist for the Live Well San Diego Vision. Early career roles include serving as Sr. Public Information Officer for the City of San Diego's Transportation and Storm Water Department, Education Manager at I Love A Clean San Diego, and Park Ranger with the National Park Service. Lana's clinical research experience includes working as a Sr. Clinical Research Associate at Elan Pharmaceuticals and Omnicare Clinical Research. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Outdoor and Environmental Education from Alaska Pacific University, a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego, and studies in Biology at Palomar College.
