Sara Thornburgh

Sara Thornburgh is a Senior Land Use/Environmental Planner at the County of San Diego, a position held since March 2023, previously serving as a Land Use/Environmental Planner II. Prior to this role, Sara worked at Caltrans from November 2020 to March 2023 as an Environmental Scientist and Environmental Planner specializing in Natural Sciences. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Earth and Environmental Sciences from UCLA, earned between 2016 and 2020, and a Certificate in CEQA Practice from UC San Diego Extended Studies, completed in 2021.
