Tristian Cormier

Tristian Cormier currently serves as the Chief Information Officer and Director of the Information Systems Division for the County of San Joaquin, focusing on technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. Previously, Tristian held multiple leadership positions at the California Secretary of State, including Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer, where significant improvements in IT modernization and cybersecurity were achieved. Tristian also established IT operations and cybersecurity at the California Office of Tax Appeals as the first appointed CIO/CISO, and has held various technical roles within the California Department of Justice and Employment Development Department. Tristian holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from California State University-Sacramento.
