Angie Harris

Angie Harris, RHIT, CCS-P, is an experienced medical coder with a diverse background in health information management. Currently serving as an Outpatient Medical Coder II at the County of San Mateo since August 2021, Angie is responsible for assigning and verifying ICD-10 and CPT codes for outpatient and inpatient medical records. Prior to this role, Angie worked as an Outpatient Coder 2 at CentraCare and as an Outpatient/ED Coder at Stanford Health Care, where responsibilities included coding and abstracting medical records for reimbursement and research purposes. Earlier experience includes serving as a Trauma Registrar-Health Information Tech I at Santa Clara Valley Health & Hospital System and a Cytogenetic Lab Technician at Kaiser Permanente. Angie holds an Associate of Science degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology from Santa Barbara City College and an Associate of Arts degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Foothill College.
