Shova Ale Magar

Shova Ale Magar is a dedicated professional in sustainability, currently serving as a Sustainability Specialist for the County of San Mateo and as a Sustainability Advisor for Yo-Waste, a technology startup focused on solid waste collection services. With a rich background in environmental initiatives, Shova has held various roles including Municipal Coordinator at Waste Management and Outreach Coordinator at GreenCitizen. Shova also contributed to the Convergence Planning Committee at Zero Waste Youth USA. Shova's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Sociology from Hiram College, where participation as a scholarship recipient and permaculture intern further enriched expertise in sustainability practices.
